The book of job summary

According to biblical scholars, the Book of Job is the oldest book in the Bible. If you were to fit it chronologically, it should be place in the early chapters of Genesis.

Today, I finished my first book of the year: On Job: God-Talk and the Suffering of the Innocent by Gustavo Gutiérrez and wow, was this one a doozy. It definitely gets 5 stars from me. Jobs burden, reconciling unimaginable suffering with the idea of a just God, is a task one that few preachers or academics are bold enough to tackle.
